The intention of the title makes three senses:

1-From a materialistic aspect, when dying decomposes the body and you stop to be; although you transcends through the descendant, you perish, you are a step back.

2-From Carlos Castaneda's texts, where he refers that it always accompanies us the death, it is behind a step of us.

3-It is not a retrospective but, I show current paintings and others had made for some years, for what is behind an exhibition a step back in the time of my artistic creation . 

The exhibition shows paintings with the topic of the death tried from different angles that goes from the jovial thing, the ludic, the raw thing, without forgetting the mystic sense.
This diversity is also shown in that each work is in itself independent of the other ones, from the great format of some as the medium and small of other, but they are united by that red thread (that deceives us apparently fragile), as our own lives they are united by a death, only and atemporal, because the death never dies.
It is a present topic in my life, for which I have navigated and it has driven me for different oceans, with stormy waters as much as calms, what one can see in this exhibition, with which invite to see, to feel, waiting that it is not a static and rigid road, but a free journey and open to many interpretations, a to walk that he/she reminds us to the death that we have behind to a step as only human certainty.
